Prescribed Qualification/Experience:
- MBBS qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC)/Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC).
- Registered with PMDC/PMC.
- One year experience of regular house job.
Important Notes:
- Candidates must have passed their MBBS examination and completed one year of house job by the closing date for submission of online applications to the Punjab Public Service Commission.
- Candidates must produce a certificate of Full Permanent Medical Registration from PMC/PMDC issued on or before the closing date for eligibility. If the registration certificate is pending, candidates must provide evidence of application submission by the closing date.
- Candidates applying for renewal of expired registration after the closing date will also be eligible.
- Provisional PMDC/PMC registration certificates for house jobs are not accepted for eligibility.
Syllabus for Written Examination:
- One paper MCQ type written test (100 marks, 90 minutes duration).
- Qualification-related questions: 80%
- General ability: 20% (includes General knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science, and Basic Computer Studies).
Important Exam Notes:
- Candidates must obtain 40% marks in the written test to qualify. Qualified candidates will be called for an interview at a ratio of 1:5 with respect to the number of posts.
- Negative marking will be applied; 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in the MCQ type paper.
